President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance. The clash happened on Friday in the Oval Office at the White House. It started as a friendly meeting but quickly turned into a shouting match in front of reporters. Zelensky said the argument wasn’t good for either side, but he believes the U.S. and Ukraine can still work together.
The meeting was supposed to be about a deal where the U.S. would get minerals from Ukraine in exchange for helping end the war with Russia. But things went wrong fast. Trump and Vance got upset with Zelensky. They said he wasn’t thankful enough for the help America has given Ukraine, like money and weapons to fight Russia. Trump even warned that Zelensky was risking “World War Three” by not agreeing to peace talks. Vance called Zelensky “disrespectful” and said Ukraine should be grateful.
