Christina Fulton, the ex-girlfriend of Nicolas Cage and mother of Weston Cage, has filed a lawsuit against both of them, claiming that an alleged assault by Weston in April resulted in “catastrophic” physical, emotional, and financial injuries.
Fulton, 57, cites negligence on Nicolas Cage’s part and accuses Weston, 34, of assault, battery, and intentional infliction of emotional distress in a civil suit submitted to a Los Angeles court. Weston was previously arrested in July for allegedly assaulting two individuals, with Fulton confirming she was among the victims.

In her lawsuit, Fulton characterizes Weston as a “300-pound professional fighter” with a track record of “violent assaults, substance abuse, and mental instability,” which she asserts Nicolas Cage has ignored. Fulton claims that Cage has financially supported Weston, bailed him out of jail on multiple occasions, and consumed alcohol with him, despite being aware of his substance abuse issues and history of violence.

Weston Cage’s attorney responded to the lawsuit, describing it as an expected maneuver from Fulton, whom he claims has a history of litigation against family members. The statement dismissed her allegations as attempts for financial gain and attention, emphasizing that Fulton had previously informed police officers that Weston was undergoing a mental health crisis at the time of the incident.

Fulton alleges that she sustained serious injuries during the assault, which occurred in various locations within Weston’s apartment complex. She reports suffering severe, disfiguring injuries requiring surgeries and extensive medical attention, in addition to experiencing PTSD. The lawsuit claims the incident has significantly impacted her modeling and acting career, compromising multiple business opportunities. Fulton is seeking a jury trial and unspecified damages for her claims.
