In Annapolis, Maryland, Eileen and Tim Berzins have built an extraordinary family, celebrating Mother’s Day with their 17 children: Moira, Timothy Jr., Gerard, William, Sean, Gabriel, Kevin, Mary Ellen, Marie, Molly, Theresa, Megan, Francis, Brendon, Virginia, Rose, and Cecilia. Their eldest is 26 years old, while their youngest is nearly 3, and Eileen herself is not yet 50.

A Georgetown graduate with a master’s from Loyola, Eileen sees motherhood as her true calling. Her daily routine includes early morning workouts, preparing large breakfasts, and homeschooling their children starting at 8 a.m. The school day wraps up by 1 p.m., leaving time for sports, where Eileen also coaches two teams. Her husband, Tim, runs a federal contracting business, and several of their sons are following in his footsteps through the Naval Academy.
The Berzins family follows structured routines, including shared dinners, nightly chores, and meal prep for the next day. Regular shopping trips to Sam’s Club are essential to keep up with their needs. When asked if they plan to have more children, the entire family responds with a resounding “No!”
