Jeff, a man who struggled with depression and alcoholism, had a life-changing near-death experience in 2014 after a car crash. Before the crash, he had blamed God for his mother’s death from cancer when he was 22.
His bitterness led to heavy drinking and a difficult life. But after the crash, where his heart stopped, he had a vision of both heaven and hell.

He described feeling his soul leave his body and encountering darkness, with fog surrounding him. In his vision, he called out to Jesus for help. He also saw a young version of his mother washing her arm, which he interpreted as a sign that he needed to “clean up his act.”

Following this experience, Jeff quit drinking and rekindled his faith in God. He and his wife now run a ministry and are planning to open a fishing lodge.
His wife, who had been worried about his safety due to his drinking, was relieved by the change in him after the crash.
