The reality TV star was driving her Cadillac SUV when she got involved in an accident in 2015.
A woman named Kimberly Howe was driving when her car hit another vehicle from the back.
A few moments later, her car was then hit by Caitlyn’s SUV.
This accident turned out to be fatal and Kimberly unfortunately died at the spot.
Jenner escaped unhurt. She was later cleared of any wrongdoing by the prosecutors.
The Olympic gold medalist, however settled a civil lawsuit with the victim’s family.
Snoop Dogg
The famous rapper and his bodyguard, McKinley were charged with first-degree murder in 1993 for the death of a rival gang member, Philip Woldemariam.
Snoop claimed self-defense in the court, and after years of this controversial case, both he and Lee were acquitted in 1996.
Scott Hall
The WWE star, better known as Razor Ramon, was charged with second-degree murder for the death of a man in Florida.
Hall shot a man after a fight outside of a night club. Although the wrestler mantained in the court that he acted in self defense.
The charges were dropped after legal investigation.
O.j. Simpson
The late athlete and actor had the most publicized trial of the 20th century.
After Ronald Goldman and Nicole Brown Simpson were found dead in June 1994, Brown’s ex-husband, O.J. Simpson was accused of being the culprit.
During the trial, Simpson’s legal team prevailed with a verdict of not guilty by the judge.
However Simpson was later found liable for the murders in a civil trial. He was ordered to pay damages of $33.5-million.
Reality TV star Kim Kardashian’s father Robert Kardashian was one of Simpson’s lawyers.
Brandy Norwood
Singer Brandy Norwood was involved in a freeway pile-up in 2006, that caused the death of Awatef Aboudihaj.
Aboudihaj had struck the vehicle in front of her before Brandy hit her rear bumper.
The former “America’s Got Talent” judge accepted responsibility for the accident.
Christian Brando
Son of acting legend Marlon Brando, Christian, pleaded guilty to manslaughter after he shot his half-sister Cheyenne’s boyfriend, Dag Drollet.
Though Unmasked Part 25 actor stated that the May 1990 shooting was accidental, he revealed that it happened during a confrontation about Cheyenne’s claim that Drollet was abused her.
Brando was charged with first-degree murder, and he served five years in prison.
Cheyenne gave birth to Drollet’s son, Tuki Brando, a month after his demise, but in 1995, she committed suicide.
Johnny Lewis
The “Sons of Anarchy” actor was found dead in 2012 after allegedly killing his landlady and her pet cat.
